About

This exclusive modular leadership programme has been carefully designed to address five of the most important challenges facing educational leaders today. Each module focuses on a critical area of leadership, equipping participants with the knowledge, skills, and mindsets needed to lead effectively in today’s rapidly evolving educational landscape.

The programme offers five focused leadership modules, each lasting 1.5 hours and delivered across one intensive day. Participants have the unique opportunity to select three of the five modules, allowing them to tailor their learning to the areas most relevant to their leadership role while still gaining significant depth of insight.

This flexible structure ensures that participants can engage deeply with multiple key leadership themes in a single day, making it both a high-impact and efficient professional learning experience.

Throughout the day, participants will also benefit from time to connect and collaborate with peers during a networking lunch, creating valuable opportunities to exchange ideas and experiences with fellow leaders.

Delivered in person by world-renowned education experts, the programme provides practical insights, current thinking, and proven strategies to support leaders in navigating the complex challenges of modern education.

Who is the programme for?

The one-day modular leadership programme is designed for educators who are currently in leadership roles or preparing to move into management and leadership positions within an education setting.

What participants will take away

By the end of the day, participants will leave with enhanced leadership and communication skills, practical tools for managing challenging situations, and a deeper understanding of how to lead confidently and effectively in modern educational environments. Participants will also gain insights that can be applied immediately to support colleagues, teams, and organisational goals.

The programme combines practical strategies, research-informed insights, and opportunities for reflection and discussion with peers. Participants will leave with greater confidence, practical leadership tools, and a clearer understanding of how to navigate the complex realities of leading in modern educational environments.

The programme will be delivered in person over one day and comprises five modules, with attendees being able to choose a maximum of three across the day. There will be five different sessions taking place throughout the day in different spaces.

  • What effective leadership looks like in today’s world – Edward Watson, InnerDrive
  • Leading AI transformation – Darren Coxon, Kompass Education
  • Understanding what school leaders need to know about learning – Valentina Devid, Formative Action School
  • Leading courageously through difficult conversations – Jo Shirley, EducationScape
  • Flourish First: Coaching for Inclusive Growth – Iain Henderson, The Bridge

The day will conclude with an interactive Q&A panel, where participants can submit questions directly to the trainers and explore the topics discussed in greater depth.
