The Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Principles and Practice is aimed at individuals who wish maintain and improve the quality of assessment from within an organisation. It provides learners with an opportunity to demonstrate their competence in an internal quality assurance role.
The aim of the qualification is to enable learners to progress their careers within internal verification and moderation, providing the knowledge and skills necessary for those who aspire to become moderators or verifiers. Learning outcomes are assessed using methods appropriate to the learner’s performance., and must include:
- observation of performance
- examining products of work
- questioning

This qualification will begin through online study on Monday 30 November from 09:30-12:30 and be followed by further online delivery, tutorial workshops, plus continuous support and collaboration via our EduScape platform.
Entry Guidance
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However, learners will complete an initial assessment of their personal skills in English, mathematics and ICT.
This qualification is suitable for learners aged 19+.
Mode of Delivery
The qualification will be delivered online over 18 weeks.

Course Duration
We expect you to complete this course within 12 months, although most learners complete it within four to six months.
