Aims and Objectives
This qualification is intended for those who assess both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the workplace (for example a workshop, classroom or other training environment).
The qualification is assessed through submission of a portfolio of evidence.
Entry Guidance
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. This qualification is suitable for those who work within the assessing sector. It provides learners with an opportunity to demonstrate their competence in a wide range of job roles.
Mode of Delivery
Open cohorts will be advertised throughout the academic year on our ESTE website for booking and delivered online in a supportive group environment. Cohorts designed to meet organisational needs can be delivered in person, online or hybrid through a flexible and accessible approach.
Progression Opportunities
Learners who achieve this qualification could progress into employment in the assessing sector or to further learning, such as:
• IAO Level 4 Award in Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes
• IAO Level Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices
