Aims and Objectives

The aim of the qualification is to enable learners to progress their careers within internal verification and moderation and to provide the knowledge necessary for learners who aspire to become moderators or verifiers.

The qualification is assessed through submission of a portfolio of evidence.

Entry Guidance

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. This qualification is aimed at individuals who maintain and improve the quality of assessment from within an organisation. It provides learners with an opportunity to demonstrate their competence in an internal quality assurance role.

Mode of Delivery

Open cohorts will be advertised throughout the academic year on our ESTE website for booking and delivered online in a supportive group environment.  Cohorts designed to meet organisational needs can be delivered in person, online or hybrid through a flexible and accessible approach.

Progression Opportunities

Learners who achieve this qualification could progress into employment in the assessing sector or to further learning, such as:
