Billy, as the deputy editor of FE Week, leads an investigative team reporting on the further education, skills and apprenticeships sector. 

He joined the company in 2014 as a junior reporter for Schools Week, known in the early days as Academies Week, after completing a degree in journalism and achieving his NCTJ qualification.

Billy moved over to FE Week in 2017. He has since helped to secure FE Week’s place as the number one source of news in further education including by being shortlisted for multiple British Journalism Awards.
