Gamu Matarira | Gamu is a hybrid professional with over 20 years’ experience in international business environments – she is an experienced leader across multiple sectors, founder of Gen A Consultancy, co-founder of Smart Learning Technologies and co-founder of African Leadership Global. However, education is at the heart of her philosophy of doing business. As a Senior Lecturer in Hertfordshire Business School, Gamu designed and led the development of a fully integrated, innovative educational model for international Business students that has been adopted as standard practise across the Business School. Her background in Higher Education extends to business coaching, corporate training and mentoring in her current roles.

Gamu is also the co-host of the Become a Smarter Learner podcast, co-delivered with Emma Pauncefort, the other half of Smart Learning Technologies.

Dr Emma Pauncefort | Dr Emma Pauncefort works across the classical music industry and education, with a dose of technology thrown in the mix. She has just re-launched UK-based, independent classical label, CRD Records in advance of marking its 50-year milestone as the leading critical creative partner of artists and an imprint that delights listeners with arresting music. Her work in the music industry to unlock classical music for brands and media is led under a joint venture with pianist and educator, Tom Worley, under the aegis of Pitch Perfect Music Solutions. A learning science practitioner with a background in literary criticism and cultural history, her education work now centres around the Become a Smarter Learner podcast, co-delivered with Gamu Matarira under the aegis of Smart Learning Technologies.

Together, Emma and Gamu are on a mission to guide a life well-lived through learning, with an especial interest in supporting creatives looking to migrate from being a practitioner to creatorpreneur.
