SUMMARY:Beyond the Vibe: Taking Your AI-Assisted App Development to the Next Level
DESCRIPTION:Join leading AI specialist Darren Coxon to explore how 2025s word of the year “vibe-coding” has taken the world by storm. \nThis course will ease beginners into AI coding. By the end of the day you will have everything you need to take your vibe coding to the next level\, and future courses will build on these firm foundations. There has never been a better time to build your own solutions with AI safely and securely. This introductory day shows you where to start! \nVibe-coding has taken the world by storm – so much so that it was 2025’s word of the year. But what is it and how do you get started? Vibe coding uses AI agents to write the computer code for you\, leaving you to work as project manager and overall architect. You can now build complex\, full-stack applications with zero coding experience in a fraction of the time (and at a tiny fraction of the cost) of hiring a team of developers. \nHowever\, without the right tools and workflow you’ll soon come unstuck. Building anything more than simple microsites takes meticulous planning\, discipline and patience to keep on top of multiple workstreams and keep the whole build safe and error-free. This intensive\, one day course will provide you with the foundations for success: from an overview of the platforms used through to step-by-step guides to the optimal workflows\, by the end you will have both an excellent understanding of the AI coding environment and will have built your own simple\, secure chatbot application. \nThis course is suitable for anyone who has a good understanding of generative AI: but you do not need to have any coding / development experience.  Participants will have free access to Claude Max for the day to enable sufficient use of Claude Code during the training. Once you have enrolled on the course we will send you a list of the other free platforms you will need to have signed up to / downloaded in preparation for the day\, so that we can get off to a flying start. \nThe day will include: \n\nHow to use Google Gemini to take your initial ideas and turn them into working development documents\nSetting up your integrated development environment (IDE) to make the most of Claude Code\nOther necessary tools – agents and MCPs\nThe Claude Code development workflow\nHow to debug without losing your hair (or marbles)\nSimple backend integrations via API\nThe Github workflow and how to deploy online\n\n  \nThis is a unique\, course is for anyone interested in serious vibing\, and will significantly accelerate your AI-assisted development skills\, moving you well beyond no-code apps like Lovable\, Manus\, and Canva Code. \n

SUMMARY:Inclusion and Belonging Summit
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the EducationScape Inclusion and Belonging Summit – a flagship event for schools and colleges\, bringing together leaders\, practitioners and specialists from across the education system to explore how we move from intention to impact when it comes to inclusion. This summit in partnership with The Skills Network has been deliberately designed to reflect the real journeys of learners\, recognising that belonging must be nurtured consistently from early secondary education through post-16 and beyond. By hearing directly from speakers working in schools\, colleges and national organisations\, you will gain insight that is grounded in practice\, informed by research and shaped by lived experience. \nWhy this summit matters now \nWhile compliance with DfE funding guidance and Ofsted’s evolving inspection framework and report cards is important\, it is no longer enough. Schools and colleges are being asked to demonstrate how culture\, inclusion and wellbeing are embedded – not just documented. This summit creates space to step back and ask deeper questions: \n\nWhat does true belonging look like in a school or college?\nHow do inclusive cultures reduce behaviour issues\, improve attendance and support achievement?\nHow do we ensure no learner becomes disengaged at key transition points?\n\n  \nBy focusing on belonging as a driver of success\, this event supports you to build environments where children and young people feel confident\, connected and able to thrive academically\, personally and professionally. \nA joined-up conversation for schools and colleges \nOne of the defining strengths of this summit is its cross-phase perspective. Inclusion does not reset when a learner moves from school to college\, and neither should our thinking. Throughout the day\, you will hear from: \n\nSchool leaders and inclusion specialists\nCollege and post-16 practitioners\nOfsted\, researchers\, sector experts and charities.\n\n  \nTogether\, they will explore how consistent approaches to culture\, empathy and purpose can support learners across Key Stage 3\, Key Stage 4 and post-16 education\, particularly at points where vulnerability and disengagement are most likely. \nWhat you’ll gain from attending \nThis is a practical\, thought-provoking day designed to support real change in your setting. You will: \n\nGain clear\, evidence-informed strategies you can apply immediately\nDevelop a deeper understanding of how belonging underpins behaviour\, attendance and wellbeing\nStrengthen your confidence in responding to inspection and accountability pressures\nLearn how to better support disadvantaged learners and those with additional needs\nConnect with peers from schools and colleges facing similar challenges.\n\n  \nYou will leave not only inspired\, but equipped with tools\, language and strategies that can be shared across your teams. \nA whole-community approach to inclusion \nA central theme of the summit is that belonging cannot be created by one role or department alone. Sessions will explore inclusion through a multi-faceted lens\, recognising the vital contribution of: \n\nEducators and leaders\nParents and carers\nLearners themselves\nCommunities\, employers and external partners.\n\n  \nWe will also dedicate time to examining the power of parental engagement\, particularly for learners navigating transition\, disadvantage or disengagement. \nWhat to expect on the day \nYou will hear from a rich and diverse range of speakers\, including: \n\nProfessor Stuart Kime (Evidence Based Education)\, sharing research on how communities of learning create the conditions for belonging across schools and colleges\nProfessor Haili Hughes\, offering insight into disadvantaged learners\, staff agency and why belonging matters just as much for educators as it does for students\nFormer HMI\, international trainer\, author and leadership coach\, Meena K Wood will share insights and strategies that have proved impactful across a range of educational settings\nEmpathy Studios\, with Ed Kirwan exploring why empathy is fundamental to healthy culture and providing practical tools to develop it\nAdam Kohlbeck\, Director of Teacher Quality\, The Chiltern Trust will explore how leaders can move beyond rigid ‘belonging frameworks’ to authentically cultivate a sense of identity and community through practical\, localised strategies\nLaura Mackay\, CEO\, Just Like Us charity will be joined by volunteers\, highlighting why LGBT+ inclusion is essential in education\nInspireEDucate’s James Pope\, sharing strategic approaches to purpose-led culture where every learner feels they matter.\n\n  \nYou will also hear: \n\nReal-world case studies from schools\, with a particular focus on Key Stage 3 and Year 9\, where belonging often dips\nDeep dives into culture\, exploring purpose\, empathy and leadership through an educational lens\nInsightful discussions on current challenges\, including Ofsted preparedness\, NEETs\, SEND and supported internships.\n\n  \nThere will be multiple live Q&A sessions\, allowing you to engage directly with speakers and explore the issues most relevant to your context. This is not just about understanding the problem\, it’s about acting on it. \nWho should attend? \nThis summit is essential for professionals leading inclusion\, culture and wellbeing across schools and colleges\, including: \n\nHeadteachers\, Principals\, CEOs and Executive Leaders\nSenior leaders (Deputies\, Assistants)\nDesignated safeguarding and pastoral leads\nGovernors and governance professionals\nBehaviour\, attendance and engagement leads\nPSHE and RSE coordinators\nInclusion\, SEND and wellbeing practitioners\nTeachers/practitioners\nLocal authority professionals and policy advisors.\n\n  \nSecure your place \nPlaces are limited\, and demand for this event is expected to be high. By attending\, you will: \n\nLearn from leading voices across schools and colleges\nBe part of a meaningful\, sector-wide conversation\nTake away strategies that genuinely improve outcomes for learners and staff.\n\n  \nEarly bird discount available until 23 January 2026. All prices include VAT. Group booking discounts available. Contact our team via email. Together\, let’s move beyond managing symptoms\, and start building educational environments where every learner belongs and can achieve their full potential.
